Here is what’s on tap for this weekend
I am pretty excited for this weekend. It’s been a while since I’ve done anything that is bad for the soul since Ramadan started. A lot of sin wandered through my synapses as I sat at home and did nothing. But now I am doing stuff and it’s going to be a pretty busy weekend.
For tonight I am having dinner with my grandfather, brother, and mother. We are celebrating the end of Ramadan together. We will either eat Chinese food or Persian food depending on how my grandfather feels.
Then I am heading into the city to go to a show I have VIP passes for, and the show is sold out. It’s at The Independent and it’s the Frightened Rabbit show. But I mainly am there to see We Were Promised Jetpacks. This is a rock show with three Scottish bands. Should be awesome. Especially cuz it’s free, for me.
Then tomorrow I am going to the Brentwood Farmer’s Market as it is Saturday and it is Brentwood. I will wander around and purchase some produce. Then I will head into the city during the afternoon to hang out with Chi, Note, and Borne as she is going to be known in this post.
Then after hanging out and getting dinner we’re going to go see Patton Oswalt at the Masonic Center. After that we will most likely indulge in revelry.
Then on Sunday I am going to watch football, then I am going to a party at some space center or something. That should be fun. Gonna be looking at stars and having free foods and drinks.
Then technically not part of the weekend, though something I am looking forward to next week is Bon Iver on Tuesday and a massage on Thursday…also payday. Yes.
All these things excite me.
